  • Join Us on Priesthood Sunday - October 26th +

Priesthood Sunday, October 26, 2014, is a special day set aside to honor the priesthood in the United States. It is a call for parishioners to affirm the priesthood in the life of the Church, to honor Christ as Priest, and to honor the men who are called to be His priests on earth. With fewer priests in active ministry and fewer vocations, people are seeing less and less of priests. Priesthood Sunday seeks to reaffirm the priesthood of Jesus Christ and its central role in the life of His Church. Priest-hood Sunday offers an opportunity for priests, and all Catholics, to celebrate those called by God, and to rejoice and give thanks for all the work they do. On Priesthood Sunday St Cecilia Knights of Columbus Council will recognize Fr. Al and Fr. Augustine’s ministry. Please join us at Masses this important day.
